UCONN remains #1 as they have all season, and while a few other teams will certainly have a chance to dethrone them in the NCAA tournament, I still think they're a substantial favorite to repeat this year if they can stay healthy. The top-33 is based on how the teams are playing right now, as opposed to the standard top-25 polls which are based more on total wins and losses for the season, with a bias towards where teams started in the initial preseason rankings. The goal is to more accurately gauge where all the teams stand right now in relation to each other.
