BMW Championship

Charley Hoffman
My 2nd edition of the power rankings went very well, with my sleeper pick of Charley Hoffman taking down the Deutsche Bank with a final round 62, and 25 or the top 30 making the cut.  Jason Day once again took a lead into the final round, but was overtaken by Hoffman's spectacular 62.  Day has been in contention seemingly every week but just isn't closing the deal.  That said, his consistency puts him atop the top 30 this week in the BMW Championship at Cog Hill.

 1. Jason Day
 2. Steve Stricker
 3. Tiger Woods (needs a great week to stay in the playoffs)
 4. Matt Kuchar
 5. Jim Furyk
 6. Luke Donald
 7. Zach Johnson
 8. Adam Scott
 9. Stewart Cink
10. Phil Mickelson
Jason Day

11. Brandt Snedeker       21. Bubba Watson
12. Dustin Johnson         22. Hunter Mahan
13. Ryan Palmer             23. Rory McIlroy
14. Paul Casey               24. Ernie Els
15. Retief Goosen           25. John Senden
16. Nick Watney              26. Bill Haas
17. Charley Hoffman       27. Kevin Na
18. D.J. Trahan               28. Rickie Fowler
19. J.B. Holmes              29. Martin Laird
20. Michael Sim              30. Bo Van Pelt

Sleepers:  Justin Leonard (59th in the Fed Ex Cup standings) and Jason Dufner (65th) both need great weeks to make it to the Tour Championship, and I expect both to respond and play well.
